You wouldn't have to be afraid of using Mods which only requires you to copy-paste them in your override Folder as much as the ones that require you to run bin_ship.exe to install it. I remember Lock Bash ( bin_ship.exe) being one that works, but I have not taken the risk of using it given the fact that its eariler version could corrupt people's Saves. There is a useful thread Bioware Forum regarding which Mods is compatible on both Patch 1.02 & 1.03 and which doesn't. I've read that Realistic Look ( override Folder) and Natural Bodies ( override Folder) work just fine in both Origins & Awakening regardless of Patch aswell, but I have yet to try them in Awakening. My character have used Character Respecialization ( bin_ship.exe) while on Patch 1.02 and imported to Awakening just fine with no problem.

Whom to downloand from and which ones to avoid. I'm more concerned (for the moment until I am familiar with the whole toolset, etc) with character mods, respec mods, and armor/item mods for DAO. looking through the BioWare site again, I am curious if anyone has any suggestions/preferences in regards to what mods to pick from the bunch. The Bioware page no longer links to old patches, but you can still get them from them by manually putting in the link: TGN, 15:01, Ap(UTC) I'd personally take over any day of the week.

that extra 1MB is probably some extra useful Coding or something, no biggie imo. I downloaded 1.02 from both Bioware and Fileshack and u know they are pretty much the same with 1 being only like 1MB or something bigger than another, I'd suggest you downloading from Fileshack since it doenst look like Bioware is going to admit/put the superior but older Patch on their site any time soon. It's pretty funny how Bioware only has the most buggy Patch 1.03 up for us to download in their site. If anyone knows a most trusthworthy site, please let me know, thanks! And also if I should just download the 1.03v or not. Well, I did, but from secondary sites like Fileshack and I'm a little weary about using secondary sites. So now I'm in search of the 1.02 version and do not seem to find it. My question is in regards to the patches and the only one I see available on the BioWare website is the recent 1.03 version, which I do not want to download due to the numerous complaints that I've read from bugs. Now, before I decided to make a thread, I've researched and I couldn't really find anything. I've been playing DAO/DAA on the PS3 and I decided to get a PC copy of the game. Do not continue it unless it really needs a response. It is considered archived - the discussion is over. Note: This topic has been unedited for 4197 days.
